BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tyres for SUV, 4x4/4WD & CUV

2020-01-14

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is a year-round all-terrain tyre suitable for sports utility vehicles (SUV), 4x4/4WD and crossover sports utility vehicles (CUV). Billed as “BF Goodrich’s toughest all-terrain tyre ever”, the American-French tyre company has been perfecting its tyre design ever since it created the world’s first all-terrain capable of tackling pavement, sand, mud and even severe snow.

In this article, we highlight the design innovations behind the tough, multi-tasking All-Terrain T/A KO2 to sum up why this 2018 OFF-ROAD Traction Tyre Award winner – distributed by Malaysia tyre wholesaler, Evermatic Distribution – is a knockout choice for blazing trails across Sabah, East Malaysia.

Aggressive All-Terrain Grip
The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2’s interlocking tread element design stabilizes the tread centre and provides biting edges to maximize traction and handling both on and off the road. Furthermore, its serrated shoulder design increases traction over mud, snow and rock, especially in aired-down driving situations.

And while we may not experience snow conditions in Malaysia, it is reassuring to know that the All-Terrain T/A KO2 is also a 3-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF)-rated tyre which means it exceeds the Rubber Manufacturer Association (RMA) severe snow traction requirements.

Tough CoreGard Technology
The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2’s sidewall design is equipped with CoreGard Technology derived from its own race-proven Baja T/A KR2 tyre. Its tough sidewall features advanced deflection design to deter protruding hazards coupled with thicker rubber compound that is resistant to splits, snags and bruises.

Extended Tread Life
The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2’s tread design features locking 3D sipes that provide increased tread block stability and advanced tyre footprint shape that evenly distributes stress for a more uniform tread wear over the long haul.
